Women’s Resource Guide Publication Set to Unveil in Charlotte, NC
Charlotte, NC - MLZ Publications announces the formation of its women’s resource guide and accompanying website to service the greater Charlotte, North Carolina metropolitan area. Women With Know How, is a woman-to-woman resource guide publication offering a directory of women business owners and professionals. It will also offer advertisements from companies that do business with women. The resource guide will present service and vendor categories with listings of Charlotte’s women owned businesses.
Mimi Zelman, publisher of Women With Know How, reflects on her concept and explains, “Over the years I have been actively involved with women-based networking groups and currently serve on the board of Metropolitan Business and Professional Women. I have found that women feel comfortable doing business with other women and lean toward supporting each other. In the back of my mind I was thinking why didn’t someone gather all this information in one place for easy access. Then it struck me that this was something I wanted to do!” The location of Charlotte, North Carolina for the launch of the publication is ideal as Charlotte is one of the nation’s 10th fastest growing cities.
